Michael Noonan, DO
Michael Noonan, DO came to Crescent City to join Open Door in 2010. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006, and completed a Family Medicine residency at Boston University in 2009. He went to college at the University of Chicago, and grew up in and around Denver, Colorado. He is a member of the National Health Service Corps, a program that awards medical school scholarships to physicians who are committed to working in rural or underserved communities.

Michael’s primary interests in medicine are working with children, women’s health and family planning, using Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) to treat pain, and providing excellent primary care for the whole family. He and his girlfriend Cherie live in Crescent City and love biking, gardening and spending time in nature. He was an avid basketball player before starting his career in medicine, and now he looks forward to learning to hunt and fish here in Del Norte County.
