Nathan Copple, MD
Nathan Copple, MD has been a family physician for the Open Door Clinic system for 15 years. A native of Montana, he got his B.A. from Yale University in 1984, then his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. His residency in Family Practice was at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

He and his wife (Ellen Weiss, MD) came to Humboldt County on vacation at the end of their residencies and have been here ever since. Until 1999, Dr. Copple worked at the Eureka Community Health Center; since then, he has been at the McKinleyville CHC. In his spare time he likes to run, bike, hike, or paddle the North Coast, or just hang out with his wife and kids.
