When You Aren’t Feeling Well, Please Call Us First:

If you have a life-threatening emergency go to the nearest emergency room. When you need advice after hours, a medical provider is available by telephone – simply call the clinic’s usual telephone number. Your call will be returned within 2 hours by a provider who can give advice and help you decide if your Emergency Room visit is necessary.

Same Day Appointments and Extended Clinic Hours:

When you are sick or injured we will do our best to give you a same day appointment with your care team. We also have clinics in Crescent City, Eureka and Willow Creek that are open Saturdays and offer evening and early hours.

Why go to the extended hours clinic?

The extended hours clinic provides easy access to medical care when your doctor’s office is closed. We can address the needs of both children and adults and our services are available to all residents and travelers in the community.

When your doctor’s office is closed, we are here to serve you after-hours health care needs.

When is extended hours clinic the right choice for me?

If you are having a true emergency, go directly to the emergency room or call 911.

We regularly treat conditions such as asthma, sore throats, bladder infections, bronchitis, flu, sprains and minor lacerations (cuts).

Routine problems should be managed by your primary care doctor during regular business hours.

How do I make an appointment?

Please call your Open Door clinic for an appointment before going to the clinic.
