Lindsay Righter is Climate Action Corps Senior Portfolio Manager for California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, where she helps build the California Climate Action Corps initiative and manages the state’s portfolio of environmental AmeriCorps grants. Her background includes serving as an AmeriCorps member, managing an AmeriCorps program, serving as a north coast field representative for US Representatives Mike Thompson and Jared Huffman, and leading student success and community initiatives for Humboldt State University’s College of Professional Studies.
Lindsay has served on the Open Door Community Health Center’s Board of Directors since 2011, where she brings her understanding of north coast communities, government, and board development. She currently also serves on the board of directors for Redwood Parks Conservancy and previously on boards for the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Program and Humboldt Fish Action Council, the California Conservation Corps Community Advisory Board, and the Northern California Association of Nonprofits Leadership Award Selection Committee.
