Dr. Stampee will be teaching in our family Medicine Residency program with a specialty in Obstetrics (including surgical obstetrics). Simon earned his Medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. He attended the Swedish Family Medicine Residency at the University of Colorado, where he was also a Chief Resident. Dr. Stampee then completed a Fellowship in Advanced Obstetrics at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Simon is relocating from Louisville, Colorado with his wife Meg Stampee and grew up in Rochester, New York.
Simon was looking for an opportunity to teach where he could also make good use of his Obstetrics Fellowship training. He was attracted to both the mission and the people at Open Door. He and Meg are new to the area hoping to establish a great community here for their family. In his free time Dr. Stampee enjoys hiking, sailing, and cooking.
Simon practices at Eureka Pregnancy Services at MHS/TVSC and Redwood Community Health Center.
