Carrie grew up visiting the North Coast annually during her family’s camping trips and grew to love this area. In moving up here she is also looking forward to being closer to extended family in the Sacramento Valley.
Previously Carrie provided primary care in a small private practice, including transgender care. She spent the last year as a volunteer serving the indigenous communities of the remote Copper Canyon area of northern Mexico, establishing a new mobile health program there.
In her free time Carrie enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, music, reading, and supporting global health equity.
