Susan Rider, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
We are pleased and proud to announce the addition of Susan Rider, Registered Dental Hygienist, to our Dental staff.
Susan earned her Dental Hygiene degree from West Los Angeles College, Culver City, CA. She also received her B.S. from the University of Houston, TX.
Susan is relocating from San Luis Obispo County. She grew up in Los Angeles. She comes from a family whose passions are in the Sciences, Music, and Art.
Some of the areas she excels in besides dental hygiene are periodontal disease, education, communication, intraoral photography, nutrition, and whole body health. She feels fortunate to work with the skilled and caring healthcare providers and talented and warm support team at Open Door.
Susan was drawn to the North Coast by the need in the community and the beauty of the environment.
She loves to hike, camp, and photograph the outdoors (most recently in the Sierra Nevada’s). She also enjoys trips with friends and her beloved German Shepherd companions. She is a lifelong student of the night sky.
Susan practices at Del Norte Community Health Center.
