Open Door Pregnancy Services: Honors and empowers families through access, knowledge, and choice.

We offer compassionate, high-quality pregnancy services to meet the needs of patients during pregnancy. Early and consistent prenatal care is best for the health of the parent-to-be and for the infant.

Two of our health centers provide comprehensive prenatal care:

Our obstetric care teams include family physicians and licensed midwives who provide prenatal care and deliver babies, as well as OB nurses and other support staff who provide services in the areas of nutrition, psychosocial help, and family-childbirth education.

Open Door provides team-based care, that puts the patient at the center of their own health care, and we provide 24-hour on-call support for your health needs, pregnancy-related or otherwise.

We also support midwifery and provide medical intervention as necessary. When necessary, we consult with other obstetrical and gynecological physicians in the area to ensure the health and safety of our patients.

From the end of October our providers will use St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka for all deliveries.

Humboldt Income Program for pregnant people
Humboldt Income Program will provide direct payments of $920 for 18 months to 150 people, no strings attached. Payments will begin one month after program enrollment. Applications will be accepted beginning December 11, 2023.
